Question:
I’m getting Botox injections and would like to know if it’s okay to be out in the sun afterward.
Answer:
The restrictions after a Botox injection are that patients are told not to engage in any activity that would raise their heart rate for two hours such as heavy lifting, straining, or other activity. Patients should also not touch or rub the treated area for two hours after the treatment. After two hours, there are no restrictions at all.
