Question:
I have had an indented scar in my columella since my revision rhinoplasty surgery a year ago. What can be done to make this scar look better?
Answer:
This most likely can be corrected by a simple scar repair which would involve the excision of the indented area and re-suturing. This does not happen very often but can be the result of external rhinoplasty, especially in revision cases where it can be a little more difficult to appropriate the scar.
